It was my day off today (Sunday). I watched a bit of your Eastenders, for the first time in about 20 years. It was very exciting and it got me hooked instantly.
Then imagine my sadness when an orphaned girl, who was first rejected by her birth mother about 5 minutes ago, is then struck down by a car and killed just at the moment that she is lovingly reunited with her repentant mother 5 minutes later.
There is enough misery in the world already. Why add to it so much? Happy endings are not always clichés.
TV off. Back to work.
